En febrero pasamos unos días en Madrid, y tuvimos la oportunidad de asistir a la Feria de Arte Contemporáneo.
Vimos un montón de cosas diferentes y obras muy originales. Nos gustó mucho y por eso, queríamos compartir con vosotros alguna foto.
Esperamos que tambíen os guste, a pesar de os mostramos una pequeña parte de la esposición.


In February we spent a few days in Madrid, and had the opportunity to go to ARCO.
We saw a lot of different things and very original works. We really liked and so we wanted to share with you some photos.
We hope you enjoy it too, although we show a small part of the exposition.

meet Gijón 2

Seguimos con la segunda y última parte de nuestra visita a Gijón. 

En mi caso, para esta escapada, elegí un vestido de tirantes negro con encaje, que me compré en Zara; en esta misma linea podeis encontrar camisetas, shorts y un vestido de manga larga, en color negro, como el mío o también en crudo. El bolso me lo compre en un viaje a Londres, es de la marca Jane Norman, suelo usarlo mucho ya que es muy fácil de combinar, asi que os lo enseñaré en próximos post con más detalle. Para completar el look, no podían faltar mis botas, y por supuesto, la cazadora vaquera, que por aquí nunca se sabe.

Como veis en las fotos, tuvimos bastante suerte, no llovió y se quedo una tarde genial, os enseñamos algunas imágenes tomadas desde el paseo de la playa.

We follow with the second and last part of our visit Gijón.

meet Gijón 1

Estas fotos las hicimos en verano, un día de sol que decidimos ir a Gijón a comer y dar un paseo.
Comimos en uno de nuestras bares favoritos del verano, y es que tienen una terraza genial con sofás y toldos.. todo muy estilo chill out! ;) Se llama "La buena vida".

We did these photos in the summer, a sunny day we decided to go to Gijón to eat and a walk.
We ate at one of our favorite bar in summer, and with a great terrace with sofas and canopies .. all very stylish chill out! ;) Is called "La buena vida".

Para este día decidí coger una camisa básica azul del armario de mi madre y me planté una diadema y un brazalete para darle un poco de gracia! Cogí mi mochila de cuero que compré en Tenerife hace algún tiempo y una especie de francesitas altas super cómodas!
En Asturias, y a finales de verano, no puedes salir de casa sin una chaqueta por si acaso hace fresquillo de noche... y yo elegí una chaqueta vaquera de toda la vida que combina con todo...

To this day I decided to take a basic blue shirt of my mother's closet and I planted a tiara and a bracelet to give a bit of grace! I grabbed my leather bag that I bought in Tenerife for some time and a kind of super comfortable high Frenchies!
In Asturias, and late summer, you can not leave home without a jacket in case it cold night ... and I chose a denim jacket...

Si os pasais por el norte de España os aconsejamos que visiteis Gijón, es muy bonito, sobretodo por el paseo de la playa y el puerto! A nosotras nos encanta ir desde a comer algo y dar un paseo, hasta para ir a la playita!

If you pass by the North of Spain we suggest you visit Gijón, it's very nice, especially for the ride to the beach and the port! We love to go from something to eat and take a walk, even to go to the little beach!

meet Nueva York 3

Hoy os enseño las últimas fotos de mi viaje.

Today I teach you the latest pictures of my trip.

Este es el Guggenheim de Nueva York, probablemente a los españoles os suene el nombre o la apariencia del edificio, y es que aquí en España, concretamente en Bilbao, tenemos también una obra de este mismo arquitecto.

This is the Guggenheim in New York, probably the spanish peaple knows the name or appearance of the building, and is that here in Spain, in Bilbao we have also a work of this architect.

Otro de los museos más conocidos de Nueva York es el Metropolitan, en el que pude disfrutar de unos minutos de musica, ya que en frente tocaban un grupo de jazz, del que os muestro una foto.

Another best-known museums is the Metropolitan New York, where I enjoyed a few minutes of music, because there was playing in front of a group of jazz, I show you a picture.

Estos son unos pequeños puestos en los que vendían imanes y cuadros con las imágenes más representativas de la ciudad.

Here are some small stalls selling the magnets and pictures with the most representative images of the city.

 Personalmente, a mi me gusta mucho más el Chrysler que el Empire State Building, aunque en el Crysler no es posible subir a ver las vistas, ya que creo que es un edificio de oficinas.

Personally, I like a lot more than the Chrysler than the Empire State Building, although the Chrysler is not possible to climb to see the sights, because I think it's an office building.

meet Nueva York 2

Hoy os enseñamos la penúltima parte de mi viaje a Nueva York.

Today I teach the penultimate part of my trip to New York.

Si vas a Nueva York, y no cruzas el puente de Brooklyn, es como si nunca hubieras estado allí... ¿Y quién no conoce este puente tan famoso en parte gracias a nuestra serie Sexo en Nueva York?

Yo decidí ir a visitarlo una mañana en la que hizo un tiempo perfecto, y es que si tienes suerte y no está nublado, puedes ver un preciosa vista desde él, como el puente de Manhattan.

Todo el mundo haciendo deporte ahí en medio, corriendo, haciendo footing... y es que, como ya os dije... ¡estos neyorquinos tienen obsesión por estar en forma!

Y parece que también está llegando la moda de los candados...

If you go to New York, and not cross the Brooklyn Bridge, it's like you never been there ... And who does not know this bridge as famous in part because our series Sex and the City?

I decided to visit it, one morning when the weather was perfect, and if you're lucky and not cloudy, you can see a beautiful view from it, like the Manhattan Bridge.

Everyone there in the middle playing sports, running, jogging ... is that, as I said ... New Yorkers have an obsession with being fit!

And it seems that fashion of the locks is also reaching...

Dediqué otro día para dar una vuelta por los barrios más conocidos de Manhattan. Ésta foto es de "Chinatown", y la verdad que es como estar en China.

I spent another day to walk around most famous neighborhoods Manhattan. This photo is from "Chinatown", and the truth is like being in China.


Otro barrio que no pudo faltar en mi agenda de viaje, fue "Little Italy", y es que en Sharalá somos unas autenticas enamoradas de Italia.

Disfruté de un helado en la heladería más antigua de Nueva York, Ferrara, la comida en un restaurante típico y pasee por las calles. Tuve la suerte, de coincidir con las fiestas de San Genaro, que para muchos es la fiesta más antigua e importante de Nueva York. Ponen puestos de comida típica en la calle y decoran todo el barrio con las banderas de Italia. ¡Es precioso!


Another area that could not miss on my travel agenda was "Little Italy", and that is that on Sharalá, we are in love with Italy.

 I enjoyed an ice cream in New York's oldest café, Ferrara, food in a typical restaurant and stroll through the streets. I was lucky, to coincide with the Feast of San Gennaro, which for many is the oldest and most important festival in New York. They typical food stalls on the street and around the neighborhood decorated with the flags of Italy. It's beautiful!

También visité el SOHO, el barrio de moda en la ciudad. Tiene las casas típicas que se ven en las películas, es muy tranquilo y bonito.

I also visited the SOHO, the district in fashion of the city. It has the typical houses that are in the movies, is very quiet and nice.

Tampoco puedes olvidar ir a dar un paseo al High Line Park, un parque construido sobre una antigua linea de ferrocarril. Hay amacas para tomar el sol, bancos sobre un riachuelo en el que puedes refrescarte los pies y hasta sillas en las que puedes llevar tu comida y pasar una agradable tarde.

You also can not forget to go for a walk to the High Line Park, a park built over an old railway line. There are hammocks for sunbathing, a creek bank where you can cool your feet and even chairs you can bring your lunch and spend a pleasant afternoon.

Si tienes ocasión, Washington es una ciudad preciosa para visitar y escaparte un poco de la "gran manzana". El Capitolio, la Casa Blanca y los monumentos a Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson y Roosevelt. Si tienes tiempo, también hay muchos museos muy interesantes y totalmente gratuitos.

If you have time, Washington is a beautiful city to visit and escape some of the "Big Apple". The Capitol, the White House and Washington Monument, Lincoln, Jefferson and Roosevelt. If you have time, there are many interesting museums and completely free.
